ELISI (EvoLutionary ArchItectural Aided DeSign Tool) is the software for automatic generation of floor plans. The app supports the conceptual stage of designing architectural floor plans by facilitating the search for optimal solutions in terms of their compliance with functional and design requirements as well as investor’s preferences. ELISi suggests possible solutions but leaves the final selection decision to the architect. Currently, the software is a proof-of-concept version and demonstrates possibilities of optimisation when generating architectural floor plans based on functional programs of single-family houses. The web version is tech-demo and is only for the preview purposes. This version works only on desktop browsers.

To suggest relevant design results, the software uses general architectural design guidelines and legal requirements as the AFPG constraints solved and optimised by MHEA algorithm (greedy algorithm + customized version of NSGA-II algorithm).
